Check the Poll and feel free to discuss... Similar to the KW vs Cliff poll.

Also, this assumes that we won't loose too much for KW or take a huge massive cap hit (does anyone know?)

I agree but he might be tempted with some money. Hard for any starter to want to leave a team loaded for a SB run like the Broncos are right now.

    Broncos have Peyton Manning.

That's as silly as saying the San Antonio Spurs are loaded for a NBA Finals run.

    Regular season champs. Postseason flops.

THey asked him to take a cut from 12 to 8 mil a year. So if we actually had a chance at him we would probably have to be in the 10 mil a year range or more since there are other team that would be interested.

I think it will take 8-10mil a year to sign him depending on how much is guaranteed and for how long. We can NOT cut Wimbley this year or it'd we lose KW PLUS another 2.9mil in cap space. He has about 7.2mil remaining on his SB which would hit now versus saving about 4.3mil in his 2013 salary. Can't cut him this year.

More than likely, this would involve Amano, Hasselbeck and perhaps Washington or other WR's in cut or pay reductions.

I think the FO will go after him hard as he is talented, very productive, still young enough, relatively cheap for his age/production and we appear to be his best suitors barring him not wanting to come here.

The Spurs will lose in the 2nd round if not the 1st...they need to take their ancient roster out to the woods and shoot it in the head.
