    Actually he was. Alabama kept moving him around, so he can stay on the field. Is he going to get more carries than Lacy? Yeldon? Henry? No. Alabama liked him enough and thought he was important enough to keep moving him around. He's a good football player and I'm excited to see how we use him.

    I disagree, that isnt what it means at all. When it comes to blocking, especially run blocking a blocking TE and FB are easily interchangeable. The only issue is if you run outside of the tackle everytime you line your FB up as TE it becomes predictable, so the FB has to be able to make some catches to mix it up. Doesnt mean he has to be a great receiver/TE, just catch enough to keep the defense honest.

    I actually love this pick. Fowler has what it takes to be the best all round FB in the NFL some day. He is an excellent blocker plus he is a good receiver and can carry too. And he is great on special teams.

    With all the needs of this team, taking a FB this early in the fourth is nuts, IMO. I hope he changes my mind.

    I think it's a tad more likely you are talking bad about all the picks without knowing who they are.
    This was the guy making the holes dummy. Watch his highlights. Everything he did, he did well.
