With the 157th Pick of the 2016 NFL Draft: Southern Utah CB LeShaun Sims

I did think while watching the game McCourty was having the least joy out of all of our corners. Simms had a great game, Blake showed up when it mattered. Just gotta hope for more improvement!

 

There was a couple of possessions McCourty was replaced by Sims with Blake playing opposite side of the field.

 

Sims was ranked as the top defensive player by PFF once again this week. Nice find.

 

Blake should be working at McDonald's. Gives more cushion than McCarthy

 

Sims was great again ! Starting to think we have something in this kid.

 

He allowed just 1 reception on 5 targets for 4 yards. He also had a pick! I'm hoping he starts next week and out plays Ramsey!

 

Didn't see this till now but last week SI had Sims as a Defensive Player of the Week :

Denver settled for a field goal, and those were the last points of the game. Kid’s a good player."

 

Yep.

 

There are a few high ceiling, massive potential CBs that are predicted in the 3rd+ rounds. I really feel like we can get a couple of them and be set for CBs without using either of our 1st round picks for a CB.
