A 1-2 bust from 2003 draft. And then there is our #3 Chris Brown. No wonder Floyd is out the of the GM business.

Is the 2004 class going to be any better?

Woolfolk and Calico were both failed attempts at an emerging strategy to get bigger players at CB and WR. Both guys had a nice size/speed ratio which was something the Titans were focusing too much on. I'm not as upset about the Calico pick because it was late 2nd round and the guys speed was near the best at the combine. He actually looked like he could develop before the injury and had some contribution his rookie year. Woolfolk also had injury problems (injuries are not something we can really blame Reese for) and maybe without the injuries in a cover 2 situation Woolfolk does a little better. Actually Marlin Jackson has been a little bit of the same type of disappointment for the Colts (bigger CB) considering he was a 1st round pick and couldn't break into the starting lineup in a cover 2. He may get his chance this year but when you can't unseat Jason David as a 1st round pick in a cover 2 I'd say that is not a good draft pick. I just hope we don't have the same issues with Griffin, a guy who has nice size, is physical but when it is all said and done can't stay with the quicker WRs. I'm not sure I want to see Griffin locked up one on one with Harrison or Wayne right now either.
As for Calico, even with his speed a WR that size needs to still have real good hands and run crisp routes, something he never really developed. I wonder if his head was never in it again after the injury because it sure looked like he was comeing on before the knee injuries.

    I agree- but still a 1-2 "bust".

He'd have been out of the league long ago if not for the injuries and his rookie contract.

The injuries only masked his inability to grasp the most simple concepts/techniques.

A truely clueless football player if there ever was one.

    A Dolly Parton size bust.

    Thread hijack warning.......

check out www.tourguidemike.com for the disney thing. My partner put me on to it. It gives excellent and very accurate data regarding attendance trends specific to the days of your trip. Also gives recs for what to see, where to be for best fireworks view, what to skip, best place to eat, etc. I used it on my trip last october. Honestly- never waited more than 5 minutes for each ride- kids rode them as many times as they wanted to.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread topic.....

Alright- I've just re-read my post. I shouldn't have used "partner" and "disneyworld" in the same post. Let me re-state to erase any uncertainty- my BUSINESS partner. (My "life partner" is my wife who is genetically XX!)

Sheesh- it really is the pits when political correctness sabotages a perfectly good word like partner.
