Ghana will be easier than Germany. They are a little looser and they live to dribble drive. I think that is to our advantage as we have many holes on defense and they are less likely to find them. Their defense is a bit suspect. And I think they might be a little overrated off their recent world cup successes. USA would have been a favorite against Ghana not too long ago. So I think that because Ghana is less clinical, we ought to be able to scramble with them to a 2-1 victory.

Does anyone know why Donovan would say hello to his ex-wife in the post game interview? I thought that was a little weird. Maybe he forgot he's divorced.

...And I just read that ESPN has now edited that moment out of the interview. Something strange going on there.

Because the game took place in the afternoon in South Africa. Why would the game be at 4 in the morning South Africa time just to get the game on prime time in the US?

Ghana is a better match up. Germany's passing would eat us alive.

I heard the lincoln tunnel and most of NY was honking aftyer the victory. In DC the cars were honking for sure. Even down the embassy alleyway. Great day for the country to watch and celebrate emotionally. Woo hoo!
