Jackson from Min is the worst but when you got Adrian Peterson you know the defense will stack 9 in the box, and open up the passing and he still can't do anything.

You should just delete this comment ... seriosuly it proves all you do is look at stats. Very few Texans fans would make such a hard argument for Carr. They see the guy for what he is ... no field presence ... makes short passes that do not get 1st but make completions. Look at his average passing yards per completion. It is pathetic.

    TB you are up ...

I'd take Joey Harrington just because I liked him at Oregon. They're all terrible.

Sorry to keep you hanging (just back from vacation)... Where to start, where to start????

O-line?: Carr was sacked how many times and the O-line was to blame?? Carr leaves, and the Texans have an arguably worse O-line but yet only allow 22 QB sacks. The line? or Carr 1...2...3.... fetal position?? Another consideration to Carr's sacks that you can only see if you watched him for any amount of time is the number of times he took off to run, but ran out of bounds behind the LOS - thus resulting in a sack.

Vision: Or there lackof. Under Gary Kubiak (Carr's last season with the Texans) the playbook was dumbed down, because Carr had no vision. If Carr could not hit the primary receiver, there was no second, or third read - it was the dump to the back out of the backfield.

Leadership: Or there lackof. The guys in the huddle did not respect him as a leader the way most teams look to their QB's. One reason is the 'deer in the headlight' look (see BA'S picture above) and see below 'Work Ethic'..

Work Ethic: Or there lackof... While we all can agree family is muy importante, the QB should be FILO (First in, Last Out). Carr was LIFO (Last in, first out)..

There are soooo many others, but I think the above says more than enough...

No question it's Leftwich. He has showed some good flashes of being a good QB and I was very surprised that the Vikings didn't sign him. I mean really Gus Ferotte? Seriously. But the Vikings have a good offensive line so he wont take so many hits, can just hand off to Peterson, launch a deep pass to Berrian, or throw a slant pass to Wade. He could do that and probably not screw up where as Jackson would. Assuming he can stay healthy which is a pretty big assumption.

Harrinton and Carr have had shots elsewhere and failed and Boller is a loser.

As for the worst starting QB in the league, well Andrew Walter for the Raiders 2 years ago was unwatchable and Aaron Brooks would get sacked about 15 times a quarter. But the worst? Other than the handful of good games Grossman had had 2 years ago before the Cards game he's been a disaster.

I also don't think Matt Ryan will be too good. He didn't impress me much in college, threw a bunch of interceptions in college so how will he do in the pros? Especially on the worst team in the NFL.
