The right owner, yes. But the odds on that are astronomically low. The odds of us getting a bad owner who destroys the team completely are very good.

I still think we have more consistency than most franchises, and Bud Adams deserves credit for sticking with his guns when most of us said we should do otherwise. We just can't get over the hump. I'd say that's better than 97% of the league.

Reese's problem was his drafting in the last few years of his tenure here.

Not sure a new owner would keep the team in Nashville.

I havent' read all the post--about half, so if someone has said this then sorry for the repeat.

Bud Adams will spend money people!!! What was our payroll last year compared to the league . . . I think we were 7 or 8, at least in the top 10. And when we were the oilers he spend tons of money on the team. He were always signing top free agents. His team was loaded with talent, won every year (for like 7-8 seasons in a row) and his payroll was one of the highest in the league. The dude will spend the money and he wants to win bad.

To many people and fans of this team do not know their history or their facts. Don't confuse responsible cap management with being cheap. You want Bud as the owner people and we better pray that whoever takes over for him cares as much as he does now.
