Rookie cornerbacks Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Khalid Wooten are looking forward to seeing increased action this Sunday due to the injury to Coty Sensabaugh.

Sensabaugh, who’s been playing the nickel corner for the Titans, hurt his foot against Arizona last Sunday and was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. Titans coach Mike Munchak said Sensabaugh won’t need surgery for the injury, but will need about four to six weeks to recover.

The Titans activated Wooten – a sixth-round pick last April – to take Sensabaugh’s roster spot.

“He’s worked hard and he’s deserving,” Munchak said of Wooten. “He’s found his way a little bit. This should give him some confidence.”

It’s likely that Wreh-Wilson, a third-round pick last April, will handle a slot of Sensabaugh’s former responsibilities, though the Titans could move Alterraun Verner inside at times. Recent free-agent addition Micah Pellerin could also see more times outside.

“Most of my work (in practice) has been in the nickel,” the 6-1, 198-pound Wilson said. “Coming from college, (the nickel) is actually a harder job than being on the outside. But I feel like it’s good for me because I have size and length to play to my advantage.”

I love how the silver lining ever year for the past three years has been "well we get to evaluate younger talent".... This is the worst we've ever been

He's seen some playing time but.... It's kinda hard to break the starting lineup when Mccourty and verner are having career years lol.

No idea what we have in BW
