It's not just the producers and directors, but the actors also..

Hugh Jackman is dealing an uppercut to his career by starring in a movie adaptation of Rock'em Sock'em Robots. Perhaps it's possible that the game was inspired by a 1956 novel, but it's obvious that the movie was inspired by the game and maybe the FOX football bot.

Also coming in 2012: Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna and Liam Neeson bombard their resumes on a mashup of alien invasion movies and movies based on games in Battleship. I will say that this movie has two things going for it: it provides both perspectives (Navy and Alien) so you can choose which ones are the bigger DBags, and the film is mostly set in Pearl Harbor, Oahu and Waikiki.

The copy keeps promoting Rhianna, who is not to be found in this trailer. may she's an alien... ay ay ay ay.

I wonder if Neeson will make commands like "G7!... FIRE!!"!

Avvie you ain't even lying. I swear I was saying the same damn thing to my girlfriend last night. Like seriously, wtf thought to themselves that that boxing robot is great idea for a movie. I know there have been horrible movies made before but this has to be one of the worst ideas for a movie ever. No doubt about it. I thought Hugh Jackman was better than that, but I can't blame him because surely they gave him so much money he couldn't refuse. It's not bad work if you can get it but come on man!

I dunno, Hoffa... it's not like there haven't been some serious flops recently. Seems like they'd learn.

I get invited to see free private screenings of movies you never see in the theaters all the time. After seeing bad movie after bad movie so often I can say Battleship looks fairly good. I'm always up for seeing an action packed movie.

Does The Milton Bradley company get money off this movie?

You didn't see X-men Origins: Wolverine, X-men: Last Stand, Swordfish or Van Helsing, did you?

Jackman has been in three movies I would consider good/great; X-Men, X2 and The Prestige.

Then there's this one that I am SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO.

When I saw the rock'em sock'em preview, I honestly  irl. The last movie I went to the theaters to see was Pineapple Express. I can't believe some of the "blockbusters" that have been produced lately.

To say "money talks" when you're talking about art and culture means you have simply given in.

The release of stupid movies for the mindless masses is just skimming the surface.
Let's just say Hollywood is full of suck these days and leave it at that.
