PM, healthy, would have been a obvious upgrade for a couple of years. That enough made the pursuit ok with me. We really had little to loose, we were not going to match the buffalo $$$ to mario, our QB situation is pretty good, the only thing we might have lost out on is Wells, but who knows. The way I see it is we took our shot, PM burnt a bridge and choose the donkeys, F him.

In my humble opinion, I believe that Peyton chose the Bronco's over the Titans and the 49er's because it provided him with the most time left to play.

There would be more pressure on him in San Francisco than in Nashville or Denver, and he'd have to potentially retire earlier than he'd like or move onto a new team again playing in Nashville.

In the end, Denver was the best fit to give him the most playing time remaining.
