Mario is a great player. But no way we put that type of money into a prototypical 4-3 DE. He would have been fine in a 3-4, but for 100 million... no friggin way especially after we did just fine w out him last year.

Mario was going to the highest bidder no matter, and the Bills were the most desperate. Good that you didnt commit that kind of money to him with his recent injury history. Demeco was another player out of position with the switch to the 3-4. Cushing took over and was the main cog on the field while Ryans went to the sidelines in nickle formations. We saved 9 million in cap next year and improved our draft picks while having D. Sharpton ready to step in and play the 50% of the snaps role.
