Ewker you have got to be kidding me. He was doubted all offseason before his rookie season saying how he wouldn't be able to hang in the NFL and he's not as good as everyone thinks. He became the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR BY A LANDSLIDE!! How is he not good?! He made grown vets look bad! Give me a break Ewker...

I suspect Ewker just likes Jay Cutler better and wishes he had ended up a Titan. If so, I understand. Drafting a local icon is always a popular move with the fans of a franchise and I'm surprised more franchhises don't do it more often.

But I like to think there may come a day when Vince Young pulls enough rabbits out of his hat that he will carry the Titans to a World Championship, and at that point, even the Cutler crowd may begrudgingly give Vince his props.

As for the guy up thread who wondered why Vince is working out with his receivers in Houston instead of in Nashville, do you ever leave your job at day's end and go home in the evenings?

Ewker doesn't think Vince is that good. He also doesn't like Pacman.
My guess is he wants Bulluck released, and Hope cut as well.

IF?!!! Ifs can be endless and maddening.

If Jerry Jones had never bought the Cowboys, I might still be something of a Cowboys fan.

If Bud Adams had never fired Bud Adams, I might have remained an Oilers fan after 1981.

If Red McCombs had been able to move the Vikings to San Antonio, I might have become a Vikings fan.

How about you, Titanmc? If Bud Adams had not moved the Oilers to Tennessee would you still be a Titans fan?

Does adopting a second-hand team just because it shows up in your neighborhood give a fan more legitimacy or authenticity than someone who takes an interest in it from afar - for whatever reason?

    Maybe so. I don't know.

At any rate, my comments about Ewker possibly having been a Cutler fan were not meant as a criticism of Cutler fans, nor was it a lamentation because the Texans did not draft Vince Young.

The Texans have never really appealled to me. Everything about them just seems so bland and insipid. Even the name, Texans. With Houston, they had so much to work with too. They could've been the Houston Humidity, or the Houston Mosquitoes, or the Houston Nutras. The Texans. That's more bland than a rice cake.
