I actually saw Steve play in college, on a recruiting visit to Samford in Birmingham, AL. This was '94-Mac's senior season. I couldn't believe the way he absolutly took over the game. He was more dominant than Vince, I know competition wasn't as great, but I had to hold my hand under my chin to keep my jaw from hitting the floor. All I could talk about after the game was how this guy Steve McNair beat Samford all by himself. Needless to say, I didn't accept Samford's offer. But, I have been a Mac fan ever since. Point is Vince is an amazing athelete, but so was Mac.

I believe Mac ended his senior year with 4000 yards passing and 2000 yards rushing. Still considering the level of competition it is hard to compare the two. Certainly he was more dominant than Vince with those numbers.
