Didn't Lendale recently have surgery? That may explain it. Surely he should be the first man in and last one out considering his weight issues last season.

Our QB is a #3 pick
Our RB is a #45 pick
Our WR will be a #23 pick

I like our chances. We have a lot of talent. And the Kids have been great. Our QB was in the pro Bowl, our Rb was a 1000 yd RB, and our stud WR coming into the season will be a stud. It' all good. The offense should dazzle. I think we are going to blow some people off the field.

Why are we trading up one spot to get a WR?

Lendale is probably out of shape, again, and doesn't want the same backlash when he showed up out of shape last offseason. As another poster said, his surgery could have something to do with it, but there are different ways he could condition that wouldn't harm his knee. For one example, crunches.

he had his knee scoped in january. it's takes about 2-4 weeks for that to heal 100%. that still leaves about 6 weeks to get your *** on the treadmill.

I'm kind of confused because some guys were telling me how vince should stay in nashville to work out with his teammates instead of going to school. Now even with vince going to school he's one of the few starters showing up for the conditioning program. To bad he didn't stay in nashville to work with his star receivers j-mac and blakley more.

Don't make too much of this. How well conditioned a player is in april won't matter in october.

A boxer usually needs about 3 months of hard training to be ready for a fight and nothing is more difficult than a 12 round fight. We assume these guys are professionals and they are working out somewhere and have tried to keep their weight down but why make too big a deal if a guy isn't in great shape now?
