look, the raiders blitzed an inordinate amount of times for a pre-season game and most of the time we didn't have enough blockers in to protect. we came into this game to work on our passing game and raiders came into it to win.

we're working with a fourth of the playbook and little to no schemes. if vince is going 3-14 in week one you can bash him all you want, but the fact is kerry collins(a passer) is completing a lower percentage of his passes than vince is.

 

Kerry also has a TD and tries to go to his WRs more often, he doesn't just dump to TEs and RBs. For sake of your argument, if we're just working with a fourth of the playbook, shouldn't it be the basic, easy fourth? you make it sound like things get easier with the other 3/4s of the playbook......You're wrong. Since when did you need a scheme to hit a WR in stride on a slant or a comeback?
