Biggest issue is ball placement. His WRs bailed him out early and often.

 

Mettenberger has all the tools and looks the part, but what has he actually done? He never had a defining moment. Never had a WOW moment. He never put the team on his back and got the job done. I keep going back to that every time I want to like him.

 

I am waiting to hear what Jon Gruden thinks of him. If Gruden thinks he will be good then I am on board.

Mettenberger shuold go learn form the legendary Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh, Mettenberger likes to touch the ladies a little too much just like Ol Benny Roelisberger does.

 

We are talking about a 4th rd pick or later right? And once a QB makes it past the 4th rd he could fall all the way to the end of the draft or out of the draft.

Nothing earlier than our 4th rd pick ad at that point a project guy like Logan Thomas or Stephan Morris might be preferable or a quality leader like a Murray or Savage.

No damn way this guy is top 100 pick material. .
