Eh, think of Tajae as the #3...

    Last year:
    422 snaps in 11p
    12 snaps in 10p
    11 snaps in 20p

    Vs

    211 snaps in 12p
    87 snaps in 13p
    93 snaps in 22p

    ----

TE2 snaps were still Tajae snaps as a #2. Even some of the 1 Wr looks were his. Now he's only looking at part of the 2 Wide sets (as a rotation when someone needs a breather), some of the 3 wide sets and all of the 4 or greater wide sets. His snap count just got cut in half by Davis.

Agreed. We needed a slot WR and got the best one in the draft. He'll be an instant contributor. Sharpe's best shot was doing enough to take over Matthews' spot in two years but looks like that chance just went bye bye. I think the majority of fans got too caught up on his preseason hype train anyway. He seems like a high floor/low ceiling player, nothing really special about him.

Spot on...decent hands, clean routes...but average size, average speed, and now, questionable character/attitude. It doesn't really matter though. He's a fifth rounder, and a #4 on this team as it stands.

If they were standing the whole time...but with that kind of damage, most likely they ended up on the ground and then whatever side of his face is showing will be hit so you can't just go by right handed left handed unless he explains HOW he was attacked and how he was beaten.

This would not be hard to figure out if Sharpe did it or not. Bruising and DNA on Sharpe's hands and the victims body. If there and a match, he and Tretola are toast. If not...then the cops need to figure it out.

Strange that the police haven't charged him unless they either don't have enough evidence or are waiting for DNA. But frankly, Sharpe would have bruising on his hands which they would see and photograph right away so that part would be known already. DNA takes more time.

I hope they didn't do this.

The left/right hand skit was a hope and prayer that he didn't do this basically. Fully aware of how this could have went and completely agreed with bruising on his fists. Easy match.

even a couple of weeks later? As I mentioned earlier, I'm suspicious because they apparently invited him outside at midnight, 4 hours after Sharpe got upset about the pick and the comment. And I found no news about this at all prior to the reports that these guys were involved, which came weeks later.

Police came to the bar, so my assumption is that the guy was probably wasted and they considered the situation to be a bar fight as opposed to an organized beating. Maybe he's just piecing them and their encounter earlier into the story. Demonbreum isn't exactly the hood, so I would have expected more panic out of people following the incident.
