remember robinson cut like 4 OTHER Ks that are currently in The League to protect Succup - who robinson eventually let walk & signed fatrandy - & fatrandy

any of those 4 or so guys are clearly better than fatrandy

I am fine with bringing in 4 or 5 undrafted Ks and having a damn open competition for the job. Smarter move for roster spots 86-90 than any of the foreign projects robinson let pollute the facility

not saying the undrafted guys will be amazing but whoever it might be would 100% have the range to hit +50



K has been a dumpster fire since the Succup injury

 

You answered why no one cares to figure him out, it’s the D they need to figure out

 

One of life’s mysteries, why JRob loved injured players and had no intention of fixing K. He had Joseph, who kicked perfect in two tone, but must have lost the efforts because succop was returning from injury. Both vices met at one time, F up the K position AND keep a guy that was injured.

 

I think his love of injured players was in large part due to Simmons working out so well. Unfortunately he was the only case of it working out. The kicker situation. Idk it's dumbfounding

 

That is a lot of games. Maybe JRob was right in getting rid of that injury prone guy.

 

Yeah, but we have $100mil in cap space in 2024 so theoretically we could sign 10 big free agents this off-season and structure their contracts so they have a $2mil hit each this year and $10mil next year and up from there. I’m not saying we should do that, just pointing out that $27mil is enough to do whatever we want in FA this year.
