Can we just trade our entire draft to move up to draft this guy. The Texans can have the next Kyler Murray in Bryce Young. I really like Stroud.
So, I just saw my first college quarterback this year in one of two college games I’ll watch this year. We should take that guy.
Played great against UGA. All the recent Qbs to come outta ohio state have sucked in the NFL though so that scares me. I also don't think we draft a qb in rd one this year
I'd definitely like to have Stroud, but there's no way he will slide down to us, nor will our new GM sabotage our draft to move up to get him. I'm not a fan of sabotaging draft capital to move up. Don't get me wrong I'd love him but he always has a plethora of weapons that completely pad his stats. If he's there when we pick, run and turn in the card. If it's possible to trade up, I'd stay away.
It's a stretch, but ideally we are able to use a cheap QB (Dobbs or low-level FA) and use whatever resources to build around him. Sinking too much of the cap into position could be an issue.
I'm hoping Indy is dumb and falls in love with Will Levis, thinking he's the next Josh Allen. Of course there are still at least 3 other teams behind them and in front of us that need a QB. So even if Indy takes Levis, we will most likely need to trade up with Seattle to get Stroud. And that assumes Geno resigns with Seattle, or else Seattle may be looking to take a QB anyways.
