    Before everyone overreacts:

    2014: won the first game, finished 2-14
    2015: won the first game, finished 3-13
    2016: lost the first game, finished 8-8 (major improvement)
    2017: lost the first game, finished 9-7
    2018: lost the first game, finished 9-7
    2019: won the first game, finished 9-7
    2020: won the first game, finished 11-5
    2021: lost the first game, top record in the conference

    The loss is whatever, it's the NFL it happens. It's everything else accompanying it that is concerning.

    Running on first down consistently.

    Burks barely saw the field.

    Swaim leading the offense in snaps.

    Leaving points on the board in the first half.

    Defense allowing the giants one weapon to gash us for 9 YPC.

    Pounding Henry into brick walls even after he got banged up.

    Somehow bungling the last drive and needing to take a timeout to avoid a delay of game.

    We are the Minnesota Vikings right now. There's a enough talent to be successful and win some games but the ceiling is probably a short playoff run.
