    Pretty real crazy, right?

    Maybe not. Even if you are sold on Mariota, if you completely are sold on Paxton Lynch or Jared Goff being a true elite once in a generation QB, do you pass them up?

    Or if you are concerned about Mariota longterm due to injuries, do you consider drafting Lynch or Goff (again believing they are elite) for competition and the idea that you could trade one of the QBs in the future for a boatload of draft picks?

    First off, even if Mariota were injury prone, at 80% healthy he's still head and shoulders better than these upcoming rookies.

    Well I would like to see someone make a case for Lynch or Goff if they believe in them.


    Other than that, what if we don't get a good trade down opportunity? Do you consider drafting a QB only to hope to be able to trade him later?
