10 reasons why Mariota should say NO to Mularkey

    1. Mariota was still sacked and injured too often.
    2. Offense got worse.
    3. Defense got worse
    4. Wins were against bad teams
    5. Mularkey is a loser
    6. There are better candidates
    7. Mularkey was hired by coach we fired
    8. Titans job is attractive to other coaches
    9. Mariota's passing regressed
    10. It's time for a fresh start

    Just to play devil's advocate,
    1 - he inherited a screwed up o-line
    2 - injuries, and you can't fairly compare the teams he played vs what whisenhunt played.
    3 - read number 2.
    4 - we weren't good enough before Mularkey took over.
    5 - so was Belichek, Pete carrol, and many others at one point.
    6 - who is to say they want to come to a team with unstable ownership.
    7 - doesn't mean he's guaranteed to fail.
    8 - just because the media says its attractive, doesn't mean it is.
    9 - later in the year, physical wear and tear, injuries, and a fear of getting hit probably played a part..... Maybe our wr's had something to do with it?
    10 - A new GM is pretty huge towards a fresh start.

    If you consider how many games were a few points from being a win, I don't think Mularkey did THAT bad..... All things considered.

    Yeah. Whisenhunt shows us that there are worse options than Mularkey. But Mularkey is like a possible base hit... No chance of a homerun.

    I understand, I'm actually hopeful for McDaniels, just trying to point out that Mularkey isn't the end of the world, he's taking a lot of heat from fans for stuff that I don't think is really deserving. They say he failed twice before, well it wasnt like he was coaching powerhouse teams, its not hard to fail when your expected to flip a proven loser of a team into a winner.

    Well, I don't agree with ANY team or owner expecting a coach to flip a team in 1 year. I think that type of thinking is a little unrealistic.

    Team needs a fresh start, can't put all the blame on Mularkey but the results were the same as with Whiz.

    We have Mariota, this team needs to add to that excitement....not make Mularkey HC...boring

    #1 pick, cap space, new GM...build on it and make a splash, don't ease in so your balls don't get cold!
