went through a bottle of lotion and 7 tissues reading this.
I'm thinking about of making a Madden team with the scenario I just did. It's all possible, if we drafted right and made a move at a once-in-a-lifetime QB.
So far, the repines of the year.
Did you expect a win vs the Jags? I would assume yes. Did that make you feel any different about Munch?
You don't expect anymore blowout losses. Were all of the other blowouts not enough?
It's cool to look back and see how players panned out but I hate these "what if" scenarios. Not saying it would have been bad but I'd MUCH rather look to the future of what we have instead of cry about the past.
The only good thing I can point out, is it looks like we are drafting much better. I think everyone knew Vince would set us back atleast 4 years if he did not pan out.
The Pacman and Young picks set this team back for years. You cannot miss on top 10 picks like that and expect to be a winning team.
We need to see what Markelle Martin has got, replace Griffin and get a legit pass rusher. We have so much talent at linebacker to let them try and make up for poor safety and defensive line play. Those guys could be the best in the NFL soon.
Yup. Continue to get locker reps in live games (he's only started what, 6 games now?)
Get a legit safety (or 2)
Work on the D line... I think a lot of the struggles we have right now comes down to the coaches. This team isn't buying in. They are selling out. You can see it on the field and in the news struggles (cook wanting a trade)
This years draft is make or break. With the right selections (and probably coaches) we could easily jump to a mid tier team and get a legit shot at playoffs.
Do you mean Chris Henry?
But I thought top 10 draft picks weren't a big deal...?
but when you have such a bad team like that, missing on a pick of basically the whole pool hurts for years.
we wasted 4 years with Young, and traded away Pacman. Both of those guys *should* have been in there prime now.
