Do you not see any difference in a team that has no offseason AND a new coach and new QB vs. a team with no offseason and same coach, same system, same qb?

We were 9-7, that is a winning season.

    This aint rocket science.

So only 12 teams a year have a good season. When Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs that was a bad season?

It's the lack of basic fundamentals, the constant mistakes and penalties game after game, the sloppy play, and the lack of motivation in the players. They're not utilizing Cook on offense. The play calling is terrible and predictable. The game plans are terrible. He was playing footsies and creating controversy with Hass when Locker should have been playing. The defensive play calling is horrid. And we're overall a poorly coached team.

What do you think Munch is responsible for as a HC?

9-7 is a playoff team SOMETIMES in the afc. In baseball when a team goes 82-80 do you think they call that a winning season? Just winning more than you're losing but still not getting to the post season is not good. We had one of the easiest schedules we've ever had on top of that and like someone else mentioned we were basically playing the Texans and they were using it as a bye week to rest.

The 11-5 patriots thing was an anomaly and doesn't happen often.

We played some of the better teams in the league in the first half of the season, and got destroyed, as we should have been destroyed. I will agree that we should not hav ebeen blown out that many times, but I put that on our defense, which Gray is responsible for.

The running game is more important than a TE's stats. Cook cant block, thats why his snaps were cut. Ill take a running game over a whiny TE, no matter how good he is, any day of the week. And hell, even when he DOES get changes.. he drops easy balls.

So you are saying that Munch calls the plays?

There was never a QB controversy. Just fans being over reacting and emotional fans, as usual

Again, Munch doesnt call those plays man.. how are you putting that on him???

This I can agree with, but I put it on the OC and DC as much, if not more, than Munch. And honestly, Im really not a huge Munch fan.

Look.. Munch was a POSITION coach. Our lovely owner made him the HEAD coach. Munch is green. He needs experienced coordinators around him. he went after Tice, denied. He went after Callahan, denied. So he had to settle with Palmer.Expecting him to turn **** into potpourri in 2 years, is just not going to happen. You NEED the players and coaches such as Billicheat have proven that, time and time again.

Am I pleased with Munch? NO, not really, but Im also reasonable, and objective, something most emotional fans are not. Saying he sucks, is strictly emotion talking or being unrealistic about what you want him to do (see above, you actually either believe he calls the plays or.... well.. it was knock on him so I guess you really do believe he calls the plays??? really confused about that one tbh)

There is a difference. But that doesn't excuse poor play and coaching throughout the entire season, and regressing through the next season.

So just ignore how we won and lost the games and just focus on the record, right? Because we can always count on a cake walk schedule and the texans giving us a win.

Yes, only 12 teams have a good season. There are exceptions like the Patriots and Broncos. But overall you're season is a failure if you don't make the playoffs. This isn't pee wee league where every team gets a trophy for participation. It is a business, and an extremely competitive one.

A coaches responsibilities changes from team to team. Different head coaches have different things they like to stick their nose. For Reid, it was the offense. For Fisher, it was controlling everything he could.

Munch is an inexperienced coach, and needs to have coordinators that can bring something to the table, while he manages the players. Remember when Fisher had to coddle pac man, and keep him straight? Remember when he had to keep Haynesworth in line?

Thats what I believe Munch's role as HC is for this team. Cook spoke up, and got told to STFU and it wasnt his time. I thought the firing was all Bud, but the offense isnt doing what it should? He fired Palmer. Next will be Gray. He has made multipe lineup changes to try to help.

Im just not sure what you guys want from him and what you think some big named coach would have done differently.

Third round pick. I think we cut him because of an escalator in his contract or something. Worked out though. We cut him before he went into business muling cocaine.

You only make coaching changes when you have bad coaches that need changing!

They should at least be looking to see if they're improving or moving in the right direction. It's not a blanket failure for those 20 teams they have different goals. Last year with our schedule we should have made the playoffs. This year we should have improved on that record or at least shown that our offense is better or defense is better but everything has gotten worse.
