Advice thread

Figured we could use this to keep from cluttering the forum.


Anyway I have Tony Gonzalez and Dustin Keller. Gonzo is projected to put up 3 against KC while Keller is projected to put up 9 against BUF. I am going against projections and sticking with Gonzo, or should I go with Keller because of the weaker defense? NYJ passing game concerns me, especially early.

Putting Beanie Wells against SEA over BGE against BAL. I don't see any issues with that.

Stick with Gonzo.

I can't decide on Romo or Locker for this week. I just have a feeling Locker will light up the Pats.

Romo is playing the Giants, and may get eaten up by that pass rush. Locker is going up against a weak defense and will have to throw the ball often to keep up. Its a gamble, but I think its the right choice.

My toughest decision is who to plug in at W/R in another league...

Normally I would use Brown, but he's facing the Bears and I doubt he does anything.

Id roll with Brown. Lucks first game, not gonna overload him.

Mike Williams at CAR might be a good one. I think people tend to forget he is a capable #1 going up against #2s now.

would you guys start Nicks tonight over Jordy on Sunday?

I know Nicks has missed some practice time, but I really do not think you can make a bad choice here. Either way, but maybe with a slight edge to Jordy.

I'm sticking with Romo tonight over Locker.

Tough call. I would go with Nelson, but I could see either one or both having huge games. I also think it's a possibility that one of them does nothing and the other has a great game.

I lean towards Nelson just because of Nicks' lack of playing time in preseason and injury concern, but go with your gut.
