I completely disagree. Addai/23 TD's? Are you serious? Hart isn't going to do anything either. Rhodes is alright, but I don't see him being a 1000 yd back anytime soon, he's sort of slouching around right now.

What the heck are you talking about?:sad2:

Did I mention anything you just said. You want to talk about homerism? Next time you want to miss quote me make sure you have the stuff to back it up. Mike Hart is trash. Just because you have a good collegiate career doesn't translate into a good NFL career. Of course you already knew that.:moon2:

you can stand down Vince10Young. Don't you alienate buddies of mine. I work at promoting this site outside of this board across f2fa so when someone I know actually shows it's a small measure of success for my SR group so shut your smack hole son.

oh, yeah, for the love of God do you not recognize pure sarcasm when you see it? Those numbers are completely gaudy. It's like they came right off his ps3 memory card. It's only an example of what "homeristic speculation" can look like.

To topic though, Tide and omaha have convinced me that Jacksonville is the best right now. I think Tennessee is better than Indy...:homer: I also think that Indy and Tennessee are on the way up and Jacksonville is going to decline. So, if this poll is conducted on the past year, Pro Bowler fragile Freddy and BiggieShortie-Drew get the nod.

posters like Smitty, Sapper, and omaha are vital to making a board like this hum. It's not a big huge personal thing. I'm not trying to upset V10Y, it's just that's how I feel and I want everyone to know it and take notice. This is the kind of board where intelligent rival team posters posts are regarded with respect and not just dismissed based solely on the fact that a guy has a particular allegiance or what have you. Besides, this is a terrific thread and I'd like to steer it back in the direction of intelligent debate.

I don't know SEC.... Omaha kinda stirred it up a little bit. I'm not sure V10Y acted out of order.

    vslyke, oh really???

what? with this? these are all great points on which to argue. absolutely nothing is out of line. Besides, having someone with a different slant helps the forum. It's the role of rival guys to bring a little reality juice to the party. :stirpot: to some extent it is their job. omaha is not playing a troll here. V10Y is spouting about being mis-quoted. He did say that Addai was their only good back so it's not a stretch that it was interpreted as Hart/Rhodes suck.. Please. But taking exception there, ok, that's clean but when you follow it up with homer smiley and colts suck, any point or leg to stand on is lost and/or broken. I'm just saying that as "everyday" posters on here, on this board, as Titan fans, there is a premium put on respect for fans of other teams especially when this board belongs to a confederation of member boards which omaha happens to rep. None of omaha's remarks were anywhere near the neighborhood of over the line it's just there are more effective ways to make a point rather than pour thread killer smilies all over it.

Also, notice that Hart and Johnson are basically the same in terms of this discussion. They are both unknown quantities in the NFL. They haven't even been to training camp. For V10Y to blast all Colt backs except for Addai and then to basically declare Chris Johnson ROY is a bit hypocritical. It only further evidences the impartiality. Also, anyone who seriously believes that those stat lines were sincere predictions really needs to take an online class in mb comprehension.

and you know, just thinking about it... If someone does misquote your intent with a statement or draw the wrong idea out of it there is a little thing called clarification. There is no need to get pissy, call them a homer and say their championship caliber team sucks.

    Sec

This is what I was talking about. I have no problem with opposing fans, and opposing viewpoints. And I'm not really backing up V10Y either. I was just saying I'm not sure that he was out of line.

And I believe CJ is better than Hart. Hart will be productive but I believe that CJ has the potential to be ROY. (Note: I think that he won't be. I would guess that would be another RB like McFadden or Stewart).

Anyways, this is more than a bit rediculous, no? ;)

Trust me, this is all kinds of silly. He wasn't out of line. I'm just disappointed he turned to what amounts to name calling and smack slander in an otherwise awesome thread. There were so many other places to go.

edit: actually, looking again it's a decent response to gaudy predictions. I guess it was too basic for me. I prefer posts (ironically) with more words. HOMER! COLT! SUCK! UR FACE!

where omaha comes from there is a standardized response to posts like that.

    It begins with Shut Up.
