Thought this was pretty funny. What would have happened had Manning signed with the 49ers.

So Manning signs with the Niners (against Archie's wishes)

The Niners go 15-0 before Harbaugh, worried about the neck, sits Manning in the last game vs. the Cards. Cards coach Ken Whisenhunt denies rumours the Cards had a bounty on Manning. "What are we? The Saints? Why on earth would we do that?"

In the quarter finals Manningham catches a TD pass from Peyton with two seconds left to beat Eli and the Giants. Archie Manning refuses to comment. Several Giants players claim they heard Peyton tell Eli – "Dad likes me best."

In the AFC Tennessee wins a trip to the Super Bowl after sailing through their division and knocking off Denver (8-8 again) and New England. Hasselbeck throws for 6 TDs – 3 to Dallas Clark – vs. the Pats as the Titans constantly victimize LaRon Landry with play action.

In the Super Bowl Johnson runs for a record 267 yds and 4 TDs behind Steve Hutchinson and Jeff Saturday. Titans set a SB record for time of possession with 42 min. ("He was the man I want," said Titans owner Bud Adams, who tragically died of a heart attack in his booth after Johnson’s 4th TD.)
On the SF sideline during the second quarter chaos ensues as Moss, Crabtree and Manningham descend upon Manning for a three-way b*tch fest about who needs to get the ball more. "It was better than desperate housewives," said Niner back-up QB Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick had to take over from Manning who aggravated a nerve in his neck trying to avoid being slapped by Moss.

Following the game Niner’s Coach Jim Harbaugh was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries following a brief handshake scuffle with Titans coach Mike Munchak.
