According to Titanscentral, we have 22 players that count over $600,000, this year on the salary cap. They are:

    Keith Bulluck 7,575,333
    Vince Young 7,400,000
    Chris Hope 7,000,000
    Albert Haynesworh 6,530,002
    David Givens 5,700,000
    KVB 4,827,500
    Kevin Mawae 4,250,000
    Benji Olson 4,133,250
    David Thornton 3,400,000
    Adarn Jones 3,100,000
    Lamont Thompson 2,245,000
    Jacob Bell 1,850,000
    Craig Hentrich 1,783,750
    Andre Woolfolk 1,562,500
    Eugene Amano 1,300,000
    Lendale White 1,185,000
    Michael Roos 918,333
    Ben Troupe 897,500
    Travis LaBoy 865,000
    Ben Hartsock 850,000
    Randy Starks 850,000
    Antwan Odom 821,000

Who is giving good value and who isn't?

David Givens, Andre Woolfolk and Lamont Thompson are no brainers, no! (IMHO) Albert Haynesworh, has he played to be worth 6+ million a year? I would say no.

    Any thoughts?

Wow...that's crazy. I'd say that VY, KVB, Hope, Bulluck, Mawae, Olson, Thornton, Pacman (when he’s playing), Bell, Hentrich, and Roos are the only ones worth it…so, about half of them. We will find out whether or not White is worth it when the season begins.

I left that typo to give you a chance to show your vast intelligence. Hope you can figure it out in the next week or so.:)

Haynesworth is worth every penny. We are paying a few guys that don't even play twice what we are paying Hartsock, so yes, I would say he is worth it. LT at over $2M is glaring.....

Roos and Bell are big time value based on the list.

Most of the guys starting with Thornton on up are solid contributors with exception of Givens with injury, so I can't really say much there, but there's alot of room for second guessing below that level. Lamont stands out to me as low value, and obviously Woolfolk.

  9. I think that it is stupid that Woolfolk is still getting paid like hes first round talent.

He is still playing on his first round contract. This list doesn't seem all that out of whack to me. A few bargins, a few overpaid. It is all about finding salary cap balance, which we didn't have at all a few years ago.
