Bobby-D was never a performer but just count your blessings that you've actually seen the genius play

Yeah, it was my first real concert ever, I was 14. Me, two friends, and a bunch of gray-hairs rocking out to an unintelligible "All Along the Watchtower." Memories I will not soon forget.

Got ticket to a few great concerts coming up, like Volbeat and Metallica. Now Rammstein just have to get their asses moving again and get on tour, then it'll be a great summer.

good looks @ Gym Class Heroes, _pg.

I saw them open for...hmm...can't even remember now. Back before many people knew them. The crowd was sparse and Travis (lead) was standing in line with me. I recognized him, but only because I had looked up pictures the day of. I knew the songs, just not the faces.

So anyway- Travis is standing at the back of the line with me, and just moving with it to see how many people would not notice him.

and he was great live. Better than on record, and I loved their debut.

    Best

    Sheryl Crow
    Huey Lewis and The News
    Sting-84'
    Big Country
Green Day(I'm not a fan but they won me over)
    Simple Minds
Robbie Williams(again I'm not a fan but he was awesome)
    Pearl Jam
    Stone Temple Pilots
    REM
    Nerina Pallot
    Ne-Yo
    The Charlatans
U2-PopMart tour-open air gig, played for over 3 hours in non stop torrential rain and sound great.

    Worst

Manic Street Preachers -(chite,short @rsed welsh bloke wailing like a sick Hyena)
U2-2nd to last gig of the Joshua Tree world tour.Played for 40 minutes,of which Bono could barely talk let alone sing. They resorted to picking people out of the audience to sing for them.A refund should have been issued.
    Puddle of Mudd-just awful

Red Hot Chilli Peppers-by The Way tour, lifeless half hearted performance.Played the whole album plus two other tracks and the left.

***** Cat Dolls-It was a free ticket but that was still too expensive.

This is always a ***** (because I have such a bad memory). The ones that come to mind this morning are

    Best

    Sananda Maitreya (Terence D'arby)
    Lloyd Cole and the Commotions
Bob Marley and the Melody Makers
    Cassandra Wilson
    The Sugarcubes
    The Roots/Erykah Badu
    Charlie Hunter Trio
    Herb Ellis

    Worst

The one that stands out was David Bowie on his Glass Spider tour. I walked about five songs in. All choreography, zero passion. Blech. It took me over a decade to be able to enjoy Bowie's music again.

Bob Seger was a little depressing too; pudgy old guy, playing rock and roll. He seemed to check the fly in his size "smedium" jeans every 30 seconds.

    Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
Dio / Megadeth / Savatage - Sacred Heart / SoFar,SoGood, SoWhat / Hall of the Mountain King
    Van Halen - 1984
Whitesnake / Motley Crue Whitesnake / Girls, Girls, Girls
    Disturbed - Indestructable
    AC/DC - Who Made Who

    WTF?
Incubus - A Crow Left Of The Murder
    Tool - Ænema
    Metallica - Black
Dream Theater - Images and Words
Smashing Pumpkins (acoustic @ The Opry House)

I've actually been crew on more shows than I've attended
those that stood out for me as impressive (even though I might not have actually bought a ticket) :
    Garth Brooks
    Celine Dion
    Keith Urban
    Alan Jackson
    Montgomery Gentry
    Kid Rock

there are quite a bit more, but these are what come to mind
