Just copped it for PS3. I played a bit of single player, and I can already tell this is the most intense Call of Duty ever, which puts it in the running for most intense war shooter of all time. But if anyone wants to go online, PM me for my account handle. Apparently, the entire network is down this morning, hopefully for the 2.0 update *crosses fingers*. Anyway, drop your impressions here...

I'm on the fence about whether to get this on 360 or Ps3
I've read the campaign is less than 8 hours long, but the multiplayer is deep and well thought out. I have an unactivated LIVE membership, but I was thinking of playing this on PSonline as well

had both of them in my hands
put them both back until I could get some head-to-head feedback from critics. so far I haven't seen a comparison between the platforms

    360 or Ps3 ?

I am torn myself for the first time.

Infinity Ward claimed that the PS3 version had better draw distance.

Nothing to confirm that in the reviews.

PS3 version supports 18 players online I believe.

From what I am hearing, they are pretty much identical and I am having a hard time deciding which version to pick up.

They're identical. Some user reports state that PS3 has frame-rate issues and freeze-ups. I played for 3 hours last night and there was nothing even remotely close to a bug. Early reviews have stated that they are identical for each system. You can't go wrong with either version you pick up in my mind.

I'll say this. I'm not an online gamer usually, but this is the most fun I've had with an online game. The class system is extremely addicting.
