RollTide this obviously above your level of comprehension. You clearly aren't going to get it so I'm going to try one more time and then I'm out.

Yeah the Giants used the same amount of first round picks as Fisher did during his tenure with the Titans. They also used A LOT more 2nd round picks.

That shows a stronger commitment to the WR position than the Titans. Try to think about that....

Also I used another example which you have gleefully ignored because it also makes your argument bunk.

And I know this waaaay too deep for you, but we are talking about "commitment" to a position, not production from a position.

I'd say the Titans showed A LOT of commitment to the RB position, we used a 2nd, 2nd, 1st in consecutive years. Would you agree that shows a lot of commitment? Or does the commitment not matter since Chris Henry was a bust and Lendale was only here and productive a couple seasons? Try to THINK RollTide.

You are patently dishonest! Because the Titans used 5 3rd and 4th rd picks on Wrs vs 1 for the Giants you pretend they don't matter. You use an argument to suit your purpose. That is cowardly and weak and to prolong your agony is idiocy!

5 3rd and 4th rd picks is not equal to 2 2nd rd picks? 12 picks does not trump 5? So lie and say that ALL those 12 picks were 7th rounders and then claim victory. :sad2::greedy:

    Damn pathetic!

And then you totally ignore the injuries we have had at that position and the FACT that the Giants have lost some of those players to free agency.

The NY giants were so committed and so dedicated to the WR position they let Steve smith and Mario Manningham go to free agency and now they will play most of their career some place else.

    Now that is commitment!

All the giants picks on Wrs don't matter they were 10th rd or later. I'm alex now.

In my eyes, earlier round picks show more commitment than later round picks. Simple.

True, no one expects 3rd and 4th round receivers to become stud #1 receivers. The players picked in the 1st and 2nd round are the ones that your team is committing to believing that they will have an impact on key starting positions.

So one first rd pick shows greater commitment than a 1st, 2 thirds and 2 4ths?

You are not paying attention are you?

You are buying into alex's lies are you? He said that ALL, ALL, ALL our WR picks were rd 5 or later. He lied!

    Half were earlier than that.

What about Wrs who were not drafted at all? Cruz was the Giants most productive WR last year he had 87 catches for over 1500 yards. Not drafted!

    Wes Welker-undrafted
    Miles Austin-undrafted
    Steve Johnson-7th rd
    Mike williams-4th rd

The elite Wrs are the guys we couldn't have drafted anyway because they were taken so early. Like Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald, Megatron.

3rd and 4th rd picks have not been that effective so i guess you learn from that.

It was because Chris Henry was a bust that we had to draft a RB again. If Henry was a stud there would have been no need to get Chris Johnson.

20/20 hindsight says we should have drafted Jones-drew instead of Lendale and we would have been done with it.

You can't pretend that 5 mid rd picks at WR didn't count. We tried to get some impact players in those rds it just was not effective. Roby and Paul Williams especially were major failed picks. Doesn't mean they didn't try.
