I really hope CJ tears it up, he seems like a good guy with less than great PR skills.

I can't fault the confidence. But it would be nice for him to be humble. He was better than he has been in the past. And unless he gets a bunch of long runs, it might be hard for him to reach 2,000 again with Greene taking 10 to 15 carries a game. Hopefully, we only use Green on short like 1-2 yard plays, and on the goalline.

Wow. I was worried he really said this... It wouldn't have surprised me and it's a big part of the reason why he has haters - the fact that he's the kind of guy who would be dumb enough to say something like this.

But of course I want him to succeed. He is a Titan.

It is time for him to back the talk again, and I can't wait to see how he does this year. I am pretty sure he will at least cross 1,500 yards this season with the improved OL.

I predicted CJ to have the highest rushing total this year a few months back. That is before we even had Warmack.

I think CJ leads the league in rushing whatever that number is. I just don't see anybody outperforming him with our revamped O-Line. When CJ gets to the 2nd level he's deadly and I just don't see our O-Line getting pushed around. It should be backers or safeties making all the tackles on CJ.

He needs carries to get there. AP had 378 last yr, that's a heck of a lot of carries. CJ had 2K with 358. In '08 when Lendale was here too, he got 251. I didn't look it up but I would bet White had over 100 carries that year

Agreed. I think CJ shouldn't get as beat up as he has the past few years getting stuffed by D linemen and LB's. The addition of Greene, Hunter, and Walker also helps as well.

Unless Shonn Greene gets hurt or just falls on his face CJ isn't leading the league in rushing, and that's perfectly fine. What he needs to be is more consistent.
