Well Jake sucks and CJ doesn't. Therefore Jake can't afford to speak the truth while CJ can..
How can you even blame him after this offseason?
Munch's decision making would make most players want out.
Nothing we ain't already thinking. True is true. Dude being real. Can't hate that. Not "professional" but least he knows what's going on.
Now honestly I don't think we are light years away. I think we are two to three more SOLID drafts away. And that's if locker works out.
every team can turn it around. How many worst too first stories are there in the NFL?
Problem is featuring a scatback as the basis of your O is a formula for losing
see Sanders and Simpson
RBs cannot lead NFL teams, and most especially scatbacks
and yes arguable Simpson was not a scatback, but he was not Campbell either. The point is Sanders and Simpson could not make their teams good no matter how much talent they had and neither can
Titans need too limit the little guys role in the O and get a big boy too take the ugly work that is incapable of
The scatback stuff is mad true.
Jake still has a small chance of becoming the leader of this team, CJ has proven he never will be.
When a FA comes in to interview with a team, the coaches and staff have to sell that FA on the direction the team is going. Yes, money talks but good players want to win too. When the star player tells the media we are far away... no wait.... that we are very very very far away, players will take notice and good FA's will likely sign with a team that dosnet have their star player saying they are so far away its not funny. Therefor, it hurts the team in the long run.
I am not a fan of a player, and I dont let my dislike for a player or coach give me excuses to bash the team and support a player that is intentionally hurting the team. Granted, CJ is probably too stupid to realize he is hurting the team by saying this. Sadly, some of our fans are in the same boat.
I know our line sucked, but you take away CJ's long run and the past 5 games he averaged 2.5 YPC, which is a joke for a 10 million dollar a year man, regardless of the circumstances. I Have defended and said most of it was on the line the past 2 years and I still think that, but CJ, its time to just shut up or get out. No other team is going to give CJ 10 million a year. Its up to the front office, not CJ, where he plays next year.
If we could get a 2nd and get rid of his salary, we would be fools not to do it. CJ isnt going to help us win games, especially in the condition we are in, so that money can be spent on another one of many needed positions in the off season. At this point, I would not be too mad if they just cut him to save the money, and spent it elsewhere.
Then the FO can always say "CJ felt like we were too far away, we think we are close, we want people who can believe in what we are trying to build here"
Meanwhile, CJ works somewhere else and may even do well, but at half the price he is making now.
Cjs comments could easily be him sabotaging his future here on purpose.
