They do that because they already arrived at their conclusion that CJ sucks. Anything that happens after that conclusion no matter how contradictory has to be twisted to support the narrative they've created. This is how you get claims that an elite NFL team took one play off and it by some miraculous coincidence it happened to be on the play that our sucky RB torches them for a huge gain and TD.
