Chris Johnson....

C.J. needs to be featured more like Marshall Faulk was. If he get's that, we can win all of the games ahead of us.

 

I'm gonna warn ya.... people around here don't take too kindly to the thought of Chris Johnson ever playing in anything other than a Titan uniform.

Me? If it turns out Fisher & Co. still aren't conVinced VY is "the guy" I'd certainly entertain the thought of trading CJ if I were them. This team likely isn't going anywhere without an elite QB anyway. And I've said it before and was almost unanimously scoffed at... but I think there's going to be difficulty in getting CJ signed to a new contract both sides are happy with anyway.

Potential franchise QB > an RB who will probably be done in a couple years (or at the very least significantly less effective)

 

I really doubt that would be enough. Unless we somehow ended up with a top 10 pick or something. I think TorontoTitan is right when he says Luck is a pipe dream. But I suppose we can dream.

Where is this team likely going with a rookie QB at the helm and no running game without CJ? Nowhere, that's where.

We'd be better off trading a draft pick or two for a veteran if they choose not to go with Young.

 

I'm sure in titanscentral.net franchise quarterbacks are available in every corner drugstore, but the NFL they're a little hard to come by.
