I suppose there is a point in there somewhere.
The film is another spoke in the wheel. The more spokes the more likely it is going to start costing the NFL.

I'm sure there will be some fake outrage on social media with some stupid hashtag like #NflLivesMatter that will trend for like two hours on it's release date. Mike Florio will write something along the lines of what you're saying. Then MNF will come along, Bob Costas will dedicate five minutes to the subject at halftime and the everyone will go back to not caring.

You're only considering our perspective - which is pretty much irrelevant.
The door is open and the lawsuits are coming.

The lawsuits already came. I believe the NFL was sued on the basis that they hid the findings of concussion research from the players and funded their own studies to push their own agenda, right? How is that different than what Concussions is about? Can the NFL be sued for the same thing twice?

NFL just needs to put a clause that "you know what your getting into, were not.liable for lifelong problems." Clause

I think everyone knows the inherent risks that come with playing football. Its something entirely different when the league is knowingly pushing out inaccurate data to give a false sense of security.

F*cking-A right they can. Lawyers will be banging down the door for every new case. I'm not saying I'm taking sides I'm just saying the storm is coming and they know it.
Just this week a starting NFL qb was out cold on the field but will be starting the very next game. Jebus forgive Bridgewater doesn't end up with CTE but should that happen at some point you bet your arse lawyers will want to take a run at the NFL over it. Multiply that by whatever - get once successful instance and wait for the flood.

He probably already has it from playing football for at least the last eight years.

Ironically one of the conclusions supposedly is that players are significantly less likely to acquire CTE than ones who play into a career in The NFL.
