    I've seen a lot of rumors about the Vikings trying to trade him.

    Would you guys swap him straight up for Justin Hunter?

    I'm not sure what's going on with him, but after his rookie year, I thought he was on his way to greatness.

    Absolutely not. I would trade a 4th rounder for him in a heartbeat though. Maybe even a 3rd.

    I'd trade Hunter easily. At least Patterson is useful on returns.

    Jesus no... I figured he'd be a bust.

    I wasn't even a big Hunter fan, but I always considered him the better NFL prospect over Patterson who can't run a damn route to save his life... You think Hunter is bad? Ha, you don't want CP.

    Dude is dumb as rocks and was always gonna be a bust.

    I have way more faith in Hunter moving forward than I would with CP.

    No thanks . There is a reason the Vikes want to move on from a 1st rd pick so quickly ... I would rather not find that reason out 1st hand.

    I always wondered why UT couldn't get the ball in Patterson's hands in the passing game like they did with Hunter.

    I'd make the trade, but I feel like the outcome would be the same.

    Patterson may be the best overall athlete in the NFL. Certainly one of the top ones anyways. He's a threat to score any time he touches the ball. His sort of size, speed, and elusiveness are extremely rare.

    That being said, he is really dumb. Reportedly can't comprehend a play book. Can't run routes or understand audibles. He has a lot of drops. Unless we are trading a late round pick for him to be a return man, then I want no part of him. He's essentially Ted Ginn Jr.

    Hunter may not turn into anything special, but he still has the potential to. I'm sure it's hard to get a rhythm with the QB situation being what it was this yr. If he doesn't produce in year 3, he's gone.
