Unless he blows up for the rest of the season, he's not really in a position to demand a lot. Re-signing him would save us from drafting a DE early, otherwise the Titans FO holds the upper hand.

He's worth keeping. But for a normal contract, not a super star contract. And I still think we need to draft another DE. We would be a different team if we had an elite pass rusher.

That's what i would do, then use a 2nd, 3rd or 4th draft pick on a starting RB if a free agent can't be found

Two RBs should be drafted IMO. I'd like to see Seastrunk in the second. (Think Gio Bernard) and Carlos Hyde in the 5th. (Think a powerful L.Blount)

Will never happen most likely, but those are my two picks.

CJ is good through his contract and I honestly don't see him declining anytime soon. Lets save money by cutting guys like Wimbley and Fitz. Pollard needs to be extended. Verner is having a great year, but I honestly don't see the Titans paying him what he thinks he is worth because we all know that he isn't as great as his stats reflect this year. My perfect draft next year consists of a steal of an OT in the 4th like Schwenke was this year and a DE in the first. Get a backup QB somewhere and go BPA everywhere else.

LTs never slide into "stolen" range. Lol

Your get QBs that slide from time to time based on size or lack of production, you'll see DEs slip because of injuries mainly... You don't see many LTs that are worth a crap passed the second round.

Yes. Premium isn't as high, but it's becoming so. More and more teams see the need for 2 premium tackles now because of the change in offensive/defensive philosophy. Passing game has changed the game.

IDK that CJ is "passed" his prime. IMO his issue has always been effort. But yea letting Verner go would be a mistake.
