urgh looks like my hopes for LoD2 is now on TGS.
That's probably still the problem with this type of device. People don't buy games on their phone for meaningful, long periods. It's why Metal Gear Solid games didn't do that well on PSP.
Sony will have to really nail the price for this to sell well.
See, a game like ModNation is a really, really good idea for a handheld.
I wonder if they are showing the games as a way to butter people up for a big price point.
That thing can't be cheap.
Have you played the PS3 version? Is it any good?
Tomb Raider looks really good.
To quote myself
$249 and $299
That is brilliant if true.
I honestly hope that Sony learns from the price debacles of the PS3 and the PSP when they first launched. I'm not talking about giving the thing away, but maybe around 300-350 dollars.
I have played ModNation racers. I didn't love it, but I think the fact that you can make tracks quickly and more importantly, make them well, lends itself well to mobile gaming. LBP is also a game that lends itself really well to mobile gaming, as long as you can import from user-created content from the PS3 (which it appears you can).
Wow, 250, if true, would be a fair starting price.
