You're way off...
Lot of excuses there for poor play.
And when you think that Deion Sanders/ Reggie Nelson form "tackle" isn't a trip, you just don't know what a real tackle is.
A trip doesn't have to be with a hand, or foot. He basically throws himself at the ground, trying to avoid being run over, and HOPES that the ball carrier TRIPS over him... which happens here.
I told everyone pre-draft how Reggie Nelson (who did the EXACT same tackling in college) would not work out in the NFL due to him being scared to hit people, and doing this trip/tackle the feet type junk. How's he looking?
Earl Thomas = Reggie Nelson pt 2.
Nice in denial post.
I think that's a bit harsh. I'm willing to give Thomas a chance to prove differently.
That's what he looks like. And it's not so much a diss- many people here wanted Nelson, too.
And he was just as overrated as Thomas is now.
Deuce, your really bad at this internet thing, you should quit while your behind.
It's funny that people still argue with me on draft picks...
you're apparently pretty new to this. I'll try to up this thread in a year or so, and watch you do your disappearing act once again.
Which description of what's happening in a play is an 'excuse?'
Considering I've coached football and coached tackling, I think I know what tackling is. Pleas explain to me what a form tackle is and how to do it.
So you're suggesting he dives onto the ground in front of the ball carrier and hopes the RB falls over him? Funny, ET doesn't do this in a single play in your youtube vid. If you have video of him doing this...please show it. Since I haven't seen it and if you can't show it, please explain what he's doing wrong with his 'low' tackles and how it should be corrected.
I'm sure this will be an informative response!
For a guy who's been arguing that ET can't play CB (and now not S either) for reasons that are factually incorrect (he's too small, he's too slow, ect), you expect everyone to follow your 'wisdom' about draft picks?
Please tell us who will be the top 20 best players to come out of this draft...in order. Forget where they are selected...I want the guys who 3 years from now will be considered the top 20 players and we can revisit this thread in 3 years and see how you did. Also give me the top 10 biggest busts from this draft.
I look forward to seeing your wisdom...
I'll just reiterate my opinion on Earl Thomas.
Best CB in this draft!
I like Deuce so I'm gonna razz him a little bit.
I'm guessing these 4 will be at the top of his list
Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan Future Hall of Famer
Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan Future Hall of Famer
Zoltan Mesko, P, Michigan Future All-Pro
Brandon Minor, RB, Michigan Future Pro-bowler (only if like 5 other guys back out)
I would also agree with Deuce that VY is a horrible passing QB if I saw this clip. Matter of fact, everyone from Texas would suck if I was some way biased.

LOL, Just kidding Deuce! Don't hit me back too hard man.
