    Am i wrong for thinking that we were going to RUN the football more than PASS it this year?

    I was excited as a Mariota fan because I expected Mariota to have an Alex Smith role which I felt would fit him best with designed runs for him and regardless of what the forum says I think he is an excellent quick decision maker, but instead we draft a Heisman running back and never give him the ball and keep running DeMarco Murray out of the shotgun and pistol sets.

    P.S. I don't agree with Mularkey's 1990s offensive philosophy, but if your going build a line to run the ball, then RUN THE BALL (what's Josh McDaniels #?)

    Running only works if you are in the lead. We were down 2 scores early.

    Besides 28 vs 29 isn't too bad in terms of that philosophy

    It's time to turn Mariota into a Alex Smith type QB, because he clearly isn't the gunslinger we thought he was coming out of Oregon.

    I just don't understand why we constantly show teams that we are going to run. Murray and Henry would be unstoppable if we went 4 wide and opened it up for them. This 2 TE/ 2 RB system just isn't getting it done. Just spread everyone out and let them go to work.

    This whole crap offensive philosophy needs to be wiped out with some nukes, because it clearly is hindering the growth of Mariota. Let me rephrase that. It's actually making him look terrible.

    dude mm cant run. he can't juke my grandma in the open field. Not to mention he can't throw it either. he makes me so nervous every time he drops back to throw it.
