I have been unable to find the post where I researched this. But I do recall that unless the PAT was moved to like the 25-30 it would make little difference. And the point about kicking from the middle of the field instead of hash marks makes it even less of a difference than my looking into it would have indicated cause I did not think of that. Just used FG% from different ranges...

still will force HCs to make more decisions so that will be good.... for Titan opponents - LOL

so a blocked PAT can be returned for a point by the D???

an intercepted 2 point conversion returned for 2 points by the D??

From my understanding, either return would be 2 points for the D. Don't quote me on that but I think that's what I read.

 

I like the idea of having the player that scores kick the PAT. I'd love to see a 300+ lb lineman accidently score and then have to kick a PAT.

 

15 extra points already missed in 4 weeks this season. Last year there were 8 misses the entire season! Looks like this small move made by the NFL is having a bigger impact than many thought.

 

I like it and think it was a good idea.

 

I have no issues with it so far (til of course it costs us a game)
