FA wishlist

Jake Scott sucks. I'd rather tie a sack of potatoes to Dave Stewart's left leg and use that as our fifth O-lineman than have Scott back.

 

So how do you really feel? :ha:

If we can't get good production from our O-line with Munch and Bruce on the staff, then we have bigger problems.

 

Landry won't be back in Baltimore. He's a very good tackler and good in run defense but he sucks in the secondary. Lost the Pitt playoff game for us last year.. Ok I won't go that far but he allowed that TD play on 3rd and a mile. Like I said he's good in run situations but a liability on passing downs. Just my $.02

 

Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving Tommie Harris a shot. The guy has tons of talent, and I'm shocked nobody has picked him up since the Bears let him go.

 

Would anybody be receptive to briging back Chris Carr for some CB depth on a one to two year deal? He is a UFA.

 

I think the money would be better spent else where. I know he is wanting #2 money and spot and I would assume we have that pretty well filled. We have decent depth as well.

 

I tried to find the funny forum quote thread to drop this into, but alas my searches were fruitless. Regardless funny stuff.

I don't know 45, we have Finnegan, Verner, and McCourty...after that it's shakey. I would much rather have Carr over Mouton. There is of course vinnie but until they use him for more than situational downs then I want another solid CB.

 

I just want a new SS and I'm happy. I don't care if its a younger guy, a rookie, a FA...whoever. Just get Hope out of there.

 

Waaay too late for a rookie SS to step in and be effective. If we get away from Chris Hope, it will absolutely be for a proven veteran.
