by doing all of "Betty's" tasks, you get NEGATIVE karma

the way to escape (gaining POSITIVE and no negative) is to stop before making little Timmy cry and going straight to the abandoned house; thus activating the failsafe (the Invasion)

unless I've got it mixed up and they are not the same thing
