Fan Pressure to Sign Finny

Paying a good player Big money is how you go down the wrong road. Finny will be offered a 4 or 5 yr 20 mill. deal and that is all he is worth MAX!

 

that is pretty low for a pro bowl corner^^^ maybe if your talking guaranteed $$$ then ok but finny is worth somewhere to 5-8mill. He can cover on the outside, he can cover the slot, and he can blitz. its hard to replace that right away.

 

Looking at stats on the Titans I was surprised. Tackles were Mccourty,Babs,Griff,Finn. Interceptions were Griff,Mccourty,Babs,Finn in that order.

 

The guy is not a pro bowl corner he is a very good corner. Turn the tape on the last 3 years. He was playing the slot as the nickel alot which is very valuable. This guy is not Revis, Woodson, Namdai, Joseph, Hayden, champ bailey, cromartie, winfield, or asante samuel. The guy is a very good football player and alot of what he does best is more suited for safety position. A pro bowl top notch corner is a player that teams avoid his side of the field like deion sanders or Revis. Going to the pro bowl now with the rule change means 0.

 

Nnamdi had a horrible year. I rather have Finnegan than Cromartie, Winfield or Samuel.

 

revis was not all that good ether

 

Revis kinda sucked once the rest of the defense fell off a bit....Finnegan this year proved he can still be legit even when our defense around him sucks.

 

agreed. Cortland drank the Gray koolaide and it apparently tasted swell

 

Revis is only as good as his d-line. Overrated to say the least.
