More like we were pretty good the first 5 years and have been mediocre after that. Team is 74-82 since 2004.

Unfortunately I have to agree that Fisher is a better coach than Munchak. But "stability" is not a word I would use when describing the Fisher regime. You never knew what to expect from a Fisher-led team from one season to the next.

On a serious note, I gotta say that I am not normally a fan of giving up on a coach after just 3 years. BUT I am for it in this case. I give Munchak credit for taking advantage of the opportunity to become head coach after Fisher bailed by aggressively letting Bud know that he wanted and deserved the job.

He went about getting the job in the right way. He had a very loyal and extensive resume to show he was qualified for the job. So as far as getting the job, I honestly feel that it was a good hire. I give him a pass on his first year, there was slim pickings when it came to who he could hire to fill his staff. Years 2 and 3 he simply did not do enough and get enough out of these teams to warrant keeping him on as head coach anymore.

It is time to really start fresh. Fire Munchak and the entire staff, pay good money for a legit replacement, let them bring in their own guys on the staff, and go into this next season with a clean slate.

3 years is plenty of time to see whos who

it was a terrible hire to begin with, we as fans dealt with it, and here we are for the 2nd consecutive year wishing Munch away.

Time to go in another direction.

New owner, new coach, maybe even new QB and RB.

Fire everyone except Shawn Jefferson. I like what he has done with the WR's. That would be ideal.

I think DEFINITELY new Coaches, QB, and RB....I am talking a 100% Fresh start gang....I like the Defense, give or take a few needed additions, but we need stability at QB, RB, and our Offense strategy. Our offensive line needs help obivously as well. I really hope that the ownership sees this and really attempts to make positive change and make the Titans competitive again.

I'm glad someone finally started a thread about firing Munch. It has needed to be talked about and this forum has remained silent for to long.

You guys are cowards. Mike is blazing trails. Wait until PK reads this thread.
