small market team can go 13-3 and be forgotten the next season, large market team like the Pats can suck for a year and still be a SB favorite going into the next year.

 

well duh - kinda. Its always the usual suspects during the offseason.

pittsburgH, Dallas, NE, at least 1 NY team, Oakland for some reason - oh yeah their large fan base and Miami, ect. The true small market teams like Nashville and Jacksonville are hardly ever national media darlings at this time of year because the ratings are made by pandering to the clueless masses that love their 'boys, no matter what.

Once the Cows finish a season in true contention they will join the above crowd IMO

 

I think with Cutler the Bears will get some spotlight back.

 

Yeah, because the Pats have really sucked lately and been overrated. When was the last time that they sucked? They haven't posted a losing record since 2000! They haven't gone worse than 10-6 since 2002!

You can talk about other teams, but the Pats at least have earned their rep. (You can say they earned it by cheating and I'm totally ok with it, but it's ridiculous to say that they've sucked at any point.)

i rather see the Texans do good than the Cowboys.

If the Texans make the playoffs i could see them being the # 1 talked about team. they built a good buzz last season with their short winning streak and Monday night football game. they will be a big market team if they can win.
