I've heard Terry McCormick say that the Titans can get out of his contract. As long as they don't exercise the option on his contract within that 5 day window before the new league year starts, then he's out, just like Chris Johnson's contract this year.

But when Munch was asked if the Titans would be bringing both of those guys back this year coming up, he said "I don't see why not". Now I can see the reasoning behind bringing Chris Johnson back. But going out of your way again this year to bring Giffin back and give him top 10 money is absurd. They are doing it simply to spend money.
