He was linned up at both DE spots right and left, hes just noticably slower. He likes to bull rush now, and it sorta works vs the Packers, but hes playing Aaron Rodgers. He better get more creative if he likes playing pro ball.

Freeney is well beyond done IMO. Abraham might be close but at least had a decent year last season. Idonije had 7.5 sacks and at the minimum offers more against the run and could play in the base defense letting Wimbley and Ayers rush on the outside in passing situations. Also Idonije would be a viable backup to Morgan which we don't have right now. Not sure who Issy is who was mentioned earlier.

Man, what is it with these aging pass rushers insisting on money no one thinks they are worth? You don't determine your vallue, the market determines your value. Some people just don't take well to humility.

Freeney, reality check.. you are not worth ANY MORE than a middle of the road vet salary. What a joke. The most pass rusher hungry team in the NFL won't splurge for you.

They're just playing the game. And they know there's a decent chance at least one or two starting DEs go down before the season starts. Then that bumps up their value and some team might be willing overpay. Chargers already lost Melvin Ingram for the season.

That said, Freeney does seem to be way off with his pricetag. But it's a different story for a guy like Abraham, who had 10 sacks and 6 forced fumbles last year. Some team will end up overpaying him. Maybe us.
