Don't be a Locker Knocker. He needs our support. Behave yourself son.
Weedon? There's a "Weedon bandwagon?"
TE and his various multiple personalities make it up
lol it's not like that's the formula for success...
As long as we're establishing the run and playing defense, Locker will be just fine if he can limit mistakes. Our entire offense has been designed to 1. not put Jake in positions to lose the game and 2. not ask too much of him during the entirety of the game. Obviously, he lead a game winning drive and that's huge and great. I'm just saying, I wouldn't expect to see us throwing the ball 30-40 times a game.
Jake was clutch on 3rd downs last week vs SD.
Hey Im just wondering where all those people who told me Jake couldn't get better went.
Was that directed towards me?
I doubted Locker and say he hasn't shown me anything, but always said he could prove me wrong and hoped he did.
Not aimed at you, aimed at all those idiots that said he sucked and we should play Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick is a backup for a reason.
Very good article and fair.
What I think it missed was that he had two more TDs on accurate passes which were missed PI calls. Locker remains inconsistent but he's beginning to show more poise in the pocket. We'll know a lot more about him after this stretch of games against some solid defenses.
His poise in the pocket may be his biggest improvement so far. Too many times we've seen him get flustered and throw up a bad pass that usually ended up being a turnover. This year he looks a lot more calm and collected, making reads, making the right check downs, and of course no turnovers yet. If he can just start hitting some of those throws mentioned in the article more consistently then we have our QB.
